Former CHEERing volunteers Mariam and Charlie presented two sessions at the American Public Health Association conference this week in Boston, while CHEER, our parent center in Boston, USA, presented on our work in Mississippi, breastfeeding, and health equity. Dr Mariam Jaffer hosted a round table about COVID vaccination uptake in a population of refugees in Athens, Greece, and Charlie Fischer, now a medical student, presented an oral session about nutrition in a Greek refugee camp.
