Mariah is CHEERing’s first ever fellow, and her position is funded through @cheerequity and the BU Center on Forced Migration. She is earning a Master of Public Health at Boston University in Massachusetts, with a special interest in maternal-child health focused on refugee and immigrant health. In this week's #ResearchSpotlight, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) were associated with the number of #breastfeeding challenges reported. What's more ➡️ ACEs, material hardship, and breastfeeding challenges may be more common among #postpartum women than previously considered.
