This week's #ResearchSpotlight examined reactive antibody concentrations in maternal blood, infant blood & breastmilk at birth and 6 weeks after SARS-CoV-2 infection in early versus late gestation. #Breastfeeding remains safe and recommended in maternal COVID-19 infections as protective antibodies can transfer through breast milk.
