ISO stands for International Office of Standardization, and the ISO 9001 is an international certificate that recognizes an organization’s fully audited and accredited Quality Management system. In Greece, the ISO certification will allow CHEERing to meet the high standards of practice required by the Greek Ministry of Migration and Asylum to operate in refugee camps and other locations, and to be included in the Ministry’s NGO register. CHEERing has submitted the ISO certificate to the Greek ministry and is awaiting its rubber stamp of approval.
