In October, we held two more father’s group sessions to discuss infant growth, breastfeeding and reproductive health. It is all part of the effort to create a more supportive environment for pregnant and breastfeeding women in refugee camps! #CHEERinGreece
With new arrivals coming into Eleonas Camp from the islands, together with @projectelea, #CHEERinGreece went container to container assessing new arrivals where we used our Rapid Infant Feeding Assessment Tool (RIFAT). Today, #CHEERinGreece had a session in Skaramagas Camp for Fathers! Our facilitators talked about breastfeeding, preparation for birth and answered questions. We would like to thank @waba_global for the seed grant that enabled us to run these sessions for the beneficiaries. #skaramagas #refugees
